Come Veg With Me

Can you cook a decent meat-free meal?
Do you have friends, family or colleagues who have meat in most meals?
It’s time to cook a meal that will change their lives for good!

This February, people across the UK will be hosting Come Veg With Me dinner parties, banquets, cookery classes and shared lunches to demonstrate that you don’t need meat to make a meal.

Most people in the UK eat meat every day. Breaking this habit would significantly reduce our demand on land and natural resources, reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the prevalence of health problems that are linked to high meat consumption.

Come Veg With Me is about enjoying good food in good company. This isn’t about turning people veggie. It’s about helping people adopt a more varied and sustainable diet that will be good for them in the long run.

By taking part and sharing your experiences on Facebook or Twitter, you will encourage other people to host their own Come Veg With Me meals, introducing more people to great meat-free cooking. You could also win a prize, so start planning your meal now!
