Eat with the Seasons

Supermarkets go to extraordinary lengths to provide us with the same range of “fresh” food all year round. Whether that means flying food great distances, growing in heated greenhouses or artificially ripening fruit with acetylene gas, it is always more carbon intensive to cheat nature by eating out of season.
